Join @artwrk_dept for a fast-paced storytelling event to bring our creative community together in the heart of Boscombe. It’s an evening of Open Studio, Mini Gallery and PechaKucha at the Artwrk Dept (1st floor of AUGER, in the Sovereign Centre).

PechaKucha (Japanese for “chit-chat”) is a fast-paced talking event where presenters share their ideas using 20 images shown for 20 seconds each. There will be 3 talks, each lasting just 6 minutes and 40 seconds, keeping things lively, visual, and inspiring.

The three speakers are:

Grace Carroll (@grace_redesign) - a furniture artist, restoration specialist, and designer

James Wilson (@byjameswilson) - an artist known for his continuous one-line drawings of faces and florals

Jenny Tarr (@jennytarrstudio) - a contemporary figurative artist recognised for her delicate, gestural studies of women
